Effective Date: September 25, 2025
Your privacy is our highest priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how CH8 (the "App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, protects, and handles your information when you use our messaging, calling, and file-sharing services.
By using our App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We are fundamentally committed to protecting your privacy.
We have designed this App with a privacy-by-design approach, meaning we have implemented technical and organizational measures to minimize the collection of personal data and ensure your communications remain private.
All text messages, video calls, voice calls, and file transfers (including images, videos, and documents) on our App are secured with state-of-the-art end-to-end encryption. This is a core feature of our service and is active by default for all one-to-one and group communications.
End-to-end encryption ensures that your messages and files are converted into an unreadable code on your device before they are sent. Only the recipient's device holds the unique key to decrypt and read the content. This means that no one, not even us, can access the content of your communications.
Your encrypted messages and shared files are never stored on our servers after they have been delivered to the recipient(s). If a message or file is undelivered (e.g., the recipient's device is offline), it will be temporarily stored in an encrypted queue on our servers for a limited time until it can be delivered. Once delivered, it is deleted from our servers.
To provide and maintain our services, we must collect some information. We strive to collect only the data that is necessary for the App to function properly.

Contacts: o help you connect with your friends and family, our App may, with your explicit permission, access your device's address book. This data is not stored on our servers. We use it to quickly match your contacts with other users of the App.
Device and Connection Information: We collect certain technical information from your device, such as your operating system, hardware model, device ID, and IP address. This information is used for diagnostic purposes, to ensure service delivery, and for security against fraudulent activity. This data is not linked to your communications.
Usage Information: We collect general, non-content-related information about your use of the App, such as the date and time of your registration, the number of calls you make, and the total duration of your calls. This information is aggregated and used to improve the App's performance and stability.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide Our Services: To enable text messaging, video and voice calls, and file sharing.
To Maintain and Improve Our Services: We analyze aggregated usage data to understand how the App is being used, identify performance issues, and develop new features.
